The Berlin-based label Unterland was founded in 2017 by Monoloc.
Unterland is an immersive sensory experience of atmospheric productions and constructed into a unique platform for a range of soundscapes not limited to the dance floor. Think movie soundtracks and film music, albeit with both feet planted in the electronic genre.
Manifested as a record label and event series of collaborations with artists based on inspiration and respect, the musical direction lends itself to Monoloc ’s signature raw, yet sleek take on techno and ambient music but also extends to experimental and theatrical undertones. Each release will aim to “tell a story”.
From 2018 on, there will be 3-4 releases per year, each of which will be accompanied by high quality artwork as curated by Monoloc, who will work closely with selected photographers and artists to provide imagery that aesthetically compliments the music. All releases will be distributed by Kompakt in digital and vinyl formats.

After six years of running one of minimal techno’s most illustrious labels, Clink Recordings (2005-2011), and spending several years as a mainstay artist on Ellen Allien’s eclectic Bpitch Control Records, Camea has launched her latest project, Neverwhere.Inspired by her love of Avant-garde techno, dub, industrial and left-field dance music, Camea began a monthly, two-hour cult underground radio show in 2015, Neverwhere Radio, which is syndicated on web radio stations worldwide. Her show has featured a wide range of international talent, including artists like Locked Groove, Pär Grindvik, Francois X, Markus Suckut, DJ Sodeyama and many more.In 2016 she expanded her vision into a record label, and has already achieved a list of established remixers of her own production including Tobias., LA-4A, Ian Pooley, Andre Kronert, Markus Suckut and Matrixxman. The Neverwhere project focuses on attention to detail and preserving the art of releasing music; telling a story of origins, culture and collaboration through audio and visual mediums. Each release is a full-sleeve vinyl/digital package with modern surrealist artwork designed by Alland Byallo, additional multi-media elements, and is dedicated to the quality of the production of each record.

Here To Hell is an Australian label project conceived by The Presets’ Kim Moyes, and Revolver resident DJ Mike Callander.
Inspired by a Johnny Cash song, by the record “industry” in general, and by the spirit of commercial suicide, Here To Hell celebrates the pointlessness of everything: It’s the perfect reason to do only what feels good.
Together Kim and Mike also record and remix as Zero Percent, and along for the ride they’ve invited Aussie musicians and remixers from all over to celebrate techno, electro, Aussie rock, ambient and whatever they think sounds good on repeat in your headphones.
The label’s first release sees legendary Aussie band The Drones being remixed for the first time. Their song “Boredom” from the album “Feelin’ Kinda Free” has been twisted into two dancefloor interpretations: the first is by K.I.M, who explores the sound of Queen’s momentary excursion into disco, and the second by Zero Percent, exploring the drone of The Drones and paying homage to the Tibetan chanting found on the Beastie Boys record “Ill Communication”.
Sounding genre-confused? It’s certainly a project of diverse influence, but delivered by two techno DJs who found a way to play the label’s unique output in their sets. We hope you find a way to play it too.

The label was founded basically for 2 main reasons:
1. To scout and push forward talents we believe can do great things but just need some help, and a home.
2. The idea that the scenes are too closed, too divided, and there are just to many rules and borders.
We believe in creating a catalogue of diversity, yet with a small line, a small yet distinct sonic signature, that goes through all our releases, whether they are a poppy afterhours song, a dreamy house release, an EBM banger, or a fusion of world music with analogue electronic beats. This diversity helps us reach out for crowds that aren’t aware of these different sides of the music spectrum yet are eager to get to know them and we are here to provide them with a fresh platform for that.

The idea is simple: to release tracks of people close to the Nitsa family with a remix on the flip. One track per side, little info and a certain romantic flair of the dance track as something almost anonymous, beyond genres and styles.
